This hotel exceeded my expectations and it was absolutely lovely. I was travelling on a limited budget and had to pick one of the cheaper hotels, so I was concerned about the quality, but everything about the hotel was great. The room comes with a comfortable bed with lots of pillows, AC, a TV, an alarm clock, a fridge, a safe, a hair dryer, a kettle, a desk with a USB charging socket and a small balcony. The rooms also have a cute design and the photos here are true to reality. There were lots of nice touches like free snacks on arrival, daily restocked tea and coffee in the room, a water refill station, beach toys for borrowing, free prepared coffee downstairs and cute hotel merch for sale. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and kept it in impeccable condition. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes away from the closest beach, and about 1 minute away from a busy street with lots of shopping opportunities as well as Target for groceries and ABC shop for everyday items you might have forgotten at home. There is a little restaurant right in the hotel which I have visited for breakfast only (the acai bowls were great), and hotel guests receive a 5$ voucher for every day of their stay. I really enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely recommend this hotel if you're not after a big luxury resort but want something reasonably priced which is nevertheless clean, comfortable and close to the beach.

Although, we arrived very late, we were kindly greeted by a receptionist and quickly usher into our room. We were surprised with a large room on 13rd floor with a nice ocean view. The room and a bathroom were very specious. Everything was clean and very well taken care of. The housekeeping staff was excellent and very helpful. There is a small swimming pool on the roof but we did not use it, as we preferred swimming in the ocean. There is a water machine by the reception desk that the guests can use - bring your own reusable water bottle to save a lot of money! Also, you can enjoy delicious coffee in the morning in a foyer of the hotel. There is a small restaurant attached to the hotel, that serves delicious breakfasts and other meals. Hotel supplies guests with beach towels. The closest entrance to the beach is about 3 minutes walk. Great location for beach lovers, foodies and nighttimes lovers. One minute walk to the closest public bus stop - buses are great way to explore the island if you on a budget. Overall - the hotel is a go for families and singles alike. Highly recommended.

This is lovely little hotel we stayed in because it was within walking distance of the Royal Hawaiian Conference Center. It has good proximity to local restaurants, a nice little rooftop pool, and a pickup/dropoff system for beach towels so we didn't need to bring/buy any. The decor is eclectic in a good way, I loved the birds in the atrium. The sound proofing in the rooms was surprisingly good -- Honolulu is a city and can be noisy. The room service folks were communicative and were able to switch out towels when we requested. Pool was warm. Wifi was good, had no internet interruptions. Coupons for the restaurant next door were nice. I strongly appreciated the early check-in, even though we had to pay for it, I figured it was worth it since we ended up arriving at ~11 am.

We had a great stay at the Shoreline Hotel! The location is unbeatable — you're right in the heart of Waikiki, close to everything: shops, restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. The hotel offers thoughtful amenities like complimentary water, ice, and two carafes of coffee (no breakfast included) in the lobby each morning. There are also beach accessories available and a rooftop pool with a lovely view. Right next door, there’s a charming little café/restaurant — perfect for breakfast or a quick bite. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Just a heads-up: parking is quite expensive, but that’s pretty standard across Waikiki. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort and convenience in one of the best areas of Honolulu

The complimentary coffee each morning and the soda stream machine for lightly flavoured water not only saved me money but were excellent. The vanilla macadamia coffee a favourite. Located close to the beach but my 2 go to eateries .. Udon noodle and surf n turf tacos. Staff exceptionally helpful. Will stay here again on my next visit.
